How does Hypnosis work? Hypnosis allows you to access your unconscious mind, which controls your imagination, emotions, your heartbeat, your self-belief system and your permanent memory, which has been developed since birth. With hypnosis, you can reprogram and release negative thought patterns, habits and behaviors to make desirable, lasting changes in your life.
During hypnosis you will feel pleasantly relaxed. Clients remain able to speak and move if they wish to and can remember what happens in their hypnotic states afterwards. Many are surprised by how ‘normal’ hypnosis feels - something akin to daydreaming
No, this is a common misconception. Hypnotherapy is all about you having more control of your own mind, so the client is the one who has control. Nothing will be said to you under hypnosis that is not for your benefit, but if you didn't agree with anything your mind would just reject it.
A significant part of the initial session will involve finding out about your situation, background and goals.
Can everyone be hypnotised? Nobody can be hypnotised against their will, so an individual cannot be hypnotized if they choose not to be.
Absolutely. Hypnosis is a 100% natural state; everyone has been in trance many times today. It is not possible to become stuck in trance, as the client is always in control, although they may feel so comfortable that they may decide to remain in trance a little while longer. No one can stay in trance indefinitely. The worst thing that can happen is that the client may become too comfortable and fall asleep!
What is the cancelation policy? A 48 hour notice period is required for an appointment to be rescheduled or cancelled.
